Preschool music classes on Monday 9th Oct to Mon 23rd Oct 2023 music and movement fun with your child

Babies and children love music and singing and they love spending time with other children. Come and enjoy a Kimbles Music and Movement class where they can do what they do best – singing, moving, exploring, finding their rhythm and making new friends.

Join us for our 40 mins of fun-filled Music and Movement session.  We facilitate group activities such as the parachute and lycra play and all the wonderful props we have including stimulating the senses and also some British Sign Language. Dance, sing and do your thing at our studio Moira Furnace (DE12 6AT)

Block booking is essential (Unless special circumstances) – NO REFUNDS (If you can’t make the session, you can sell your place to someone else. Just let us know) Siblings are welcome too you just need to let us know when you book that you will be bringing siblings. Your ticket is for one adult and one child (any additional children will be £1.50 payable on the day)

As a guide this session is planned for children for pre school children. Learning through play makes learning fun!   By involving children in musical activities from a young age we help them to develop musical skills but also a powerful media tool to help children learn. Music inspires movement, especially in young children.  Through movement and music, we can build skills in all the essential learning areas: language, auditory, motor, creativity, social, visual, memory, as well as musical.  Foundation skills in these areas build important connections in the brain and help a child prepare for formal learning, including developing literacy.  Through movement activities and multisensory experiences, children build copious quantities of important connections in the brain.  These connections help children to streamline information processing, therefore helping them to think more efficiently.  When we offer music and movement experiences to young children we stimulate brain development.
